     I absolutely love this fic. I usually stay very far away from WIPs but I’ve been reading Foxxcub's stuff since our bandom days and trust her not to abandon it.
      It’s a high school AU, but is unique in that it’s not all about making them younger or having them derp around a school. Instead, the school setting is used as a tool to tell the story and place Arthur and Eames in situations that would not really happen in any other setting. The premise is this:
      Eames and Arthur have some sort of dislike for each other but Eames saves Arthur from some bullies and when the bullies make an offhand comment about Eames being Arthur’s boyfriend Arthur says he is. In order to make the rumors more manageable, Arthur convinces Eames to pretend to be his bf for a month in exchange for math help.
      I would have warned for spoilers except you get all of this info about .2 seconds into the first page. The fic in its entirety is sticking to a PG-13 rating so far and is already about 20,000 words. Seeing as I spend the better parts of my days refreshing her page in hopes of an update, I highly recommend this and all of her fic.

      I have already recommended this on Tumblr, but here it is again. I can’t recommend this enough- The characters, setting, and attention to geek culture accuracy make this totally epic. Even if you have not played a single web based rpg in your life, this show is fully hilarious.
      Staring Felicia Day (Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog) as Codex The Guild is a independent sitcom web series about a group of online gamers. Episodes vary from 3-8 minutes in length, and follow the Guild members’ lives online and offline.
      Now that we have started D&D, a lot of the jokes made in this totally apply. Don’t miss out on its awesomeness.

Webcomic NSFW ♦ ♥♥♥ Teahouse

Notes: Beautifully drawn and colored, Teahouse is definitely one of my favorite web comics. With art this gorgeous, the plot could suck and I would still adore it, but the thing is the plot is wicked awesome too. It gets sexually graphic, but the heart of the story is lovely and is, in essence, a love story, not a porno.
      Set place in Victorian England, the teahouse is an upper-class brothel that hosts both men and woman. I find that it has a plot that echoes Pride and Prejudice in some ways, but that might be me just reading into one of the characters a bit too much :P
Right now they are in the interlude between chapters two and three, and they update every Wednesday. Each chapter is about 25 pages in length.
      Warnings include dubious consent and gay porn (its yaoi, expecting anything else is dumb.) as well as transgender themes. The interludes are back story set when two of the main characters are younger, but it’s not at all sexual so don’t worry about chan or lolita or anything.
      I will worn you that I started reading this a while ago and due to recent developments in the plot I might need to warn for something (I won’t because of spoilers… comment and I’ll message you if you need to know.) But nothing has been confirmed solidly about that anyway and I can’t imagine it being triggery for anyone so… I’m getting off track here. Just read it, and then you’ll know. (or maybe not, they don’t exactly give you anything solid and if you are not of dirty mind you might not even pick up on it.)  But it's not bestiality or rape or scat or bloodplay or piss or mpreg-- If you don't want to be spoiled but have a squick you want to avoid, put it in the comments and I'll tell you if it is it.  It prob won't be but better safe than sorry I guess.
     Anyway, finding a full colored web comic with a plot this good is almost impossible to believe, I can't even express how pleased I am that it exists.  Don't let any of the stuff mentioned up there scare you away, this comic is totally fantastic.

So, due to all of the recent, vicious ddos attacks on LJ, I am officially moving over here. (Not that there are too many people over on LJ that will notice my absence...)  I tried moving over here a long time ago, when this site first started up, but I guess this time I should probably actually make the switch. I get kinda frustrated by the lack of layouts and stuff over here.  Also, being on LJ is like second nature, it seems weird to have this pink...thing as my homepage.

So, first post stuff- I haven't done this kind of thing in a while.

I was an LJ user since around my freshman year of high school till now I guess (I'm a freshman at RIT majoring in 3D Digital Graphics (yes, like pixar.))  I was a lurker in most of my fandoms, Harry Potter, Kingdom Hearts, Bandom, SPN, and briefly Naruto.  I still lurk for the most part in Potter, Merlin, Inception, Homestuck, and sometimes in whatever is left of KH and skating fandom-- but I'm working on being a bit more active.  I adore fanfiction and would probably whore myself out as a beta if I had more confidence (lol being shy on the Internet.) I have been a reader of Harry Potter fanfiction since I was eleven and I show no signs of stopping.  I write quite a bit of fanfiction myself, but have posted next to nothing.

Other than the fact that I, unfortunately, have permanent slash goggles affixed to my face there really isn't much else to know about me.  Drop a comment if you want one of my Dreamwidth codes, want me to read over something, or just want to say hello.
